Parque de los Deseos, Medellín

Parque de los Deseos, or the Park of Wishes, is a large, spotless plaza in Medellín which, according to the city, should familiarize visitors with the "relationship between the universe and public services." If that sounds a little odd, it makes a bit more sense once you see the planetarium, the science museum and the botanical garden. The modern architecture in the park revolves around pools, fountains and bridges. I think that these kids were just happy to play in the water on a hot, humid day.
